Energy startup Opinum closed an investment round of over 1 million Euro. A consortium of investors, among which Sambrinvest, SRIW environment, Inventures, MyMicroInvest and a number of Belgian and American business angels provided the funds.

Led by CEO Loïc Bar and currently headquartered in Liège, the company will use the new capital to accelerate and promote the development and the go-to-market of OpiSense, a centralized platform for energy consumption management that enables users to make sense of their utility bills.

Opinum's core service allows companies to centralize and aggregate data coming from different consumption sources like electricity, gas and water. This makes the general monitoring and control of energy usage easier.
