Antwerp-based tech company Rombit acquires security specialist Sercotec. This acquisition is complementary for both sides and will allow to further create and develop a smart access platform, an integrated solution for access and user monitoring at industrial sites.
Sercotec has installed security solutions in dozens of enterprises in the port of Antwerp. "Their digital products and services are instrumental in enhancing security and efficiency,” explains Jorik Rombouts, founder and CEO of Rombit.

The staff of Sercotec will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the existing and future product portfolio. The trained technicians constitute a valuable addition to the current Rombit team which consists chiefly of engineers and developers. Following this acquisition, the fast-growing company will surpass 50 employees.
