This is a FREE workshop on Javascript! This is a Beginner's class - but not for the faint-hearted.

We will dive into one of the most current and exciting programming languages. Javascript is a language that is predominantly used to improve the User Experience (UX). It allows to add nice dynamic behaviour to web pages. This programming language is very popular amongst the developer community and has been used by all web browsers for more than 15 years. In addition to that, lots of cool JS frameworks were built recently, e.g. React.js from Facebook. So what's a better time to begin!

In this workshop you will be introduced to:

  • Why we need Javascript and when to use it
  • The basics of the JS language
  • How to run JS code in any web browser using the developer’s tools and clicking on the console tab.
  • Using online tools like JS Bin
