So you found a problem that is worth solving, how cool is that. Now it’s time to start building your MVP, attract your first customers and start charging money from them. Easy, isn’t it. Turns out, it’s not!
Far too often, teams build way too much software themselves, focus on building infrastructure and features, and forget that users need to be nurtured and looked after before they become fans.
And then pricing. Pricing is hard: if you ask too much, nobody will buy from you. If you ask too little, you might not have enough margin to make a profit. Startups need to discover their ideal price, a journey only few entrepreneurs enjoy doing.
In this session, 2 topics will be covered: Pricing and building MVP’s.
In the first half of the workshop, will discuss building MVP’s: building software became much easier in the last couple of years, thanks to an abundance of open source and cloud stuff. As a result, competition is tough, and users are spoiled with nice and easy to use apps. In this session, we’ll discuss how to build MVP’s by focusing on what matters, installing real time feedback loops through analytics and leveraging hyperscale and microcare to successfully retain users at scale.
The second part of the workshop will focus on pricing. Throughout this workshop we’ll discuss 11 pricing strategies you can use to determine your ideal price. We’ll look at freemium and premium and leave you with a number of do’s and don’ts.
The workshop will be entirely in Dutch.
